This Programme is formulated mainly for other branch of engineering candidates to specialize in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering so that on completion of their post graduate diploma, the candidates are eligible to occupy Engineer/managerial positions in various Government and private Shipyards, Ship Design offices, Boatyards, Classification Societies, and Offshore companies within India and abroad. |

Those who have completed BE/BTech in Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Aero Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ship Building Engineering, offshore/ocean engineering or its equivalent from recognized University are eligible.
