Features of the Programme:
This Programme is formulated to obtain expertise in Naval Architecture and Ship Building Engineering so that on completion of the degree, the candidates are eligible to occupy Engineer/managerial positions in various Government and private Shipyards, Ship Design offices, Boatyards, Classification Societies, and Ship building contract companies within India and abroad
Programme Duration: 4 years or 8 semesters

Qualification |
A pass in Plus-Two ( 12 th Standard ) or its equivalent, with minimum 50% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry group and 55% marks in English from recognized Board |
Age |
Below 25 years at the time of commencement of the Programme. |
Gender |
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply |
Physical fitness |
Candidates must undergo Medical Test for Physical Fitness. |
Mode of Selection |
Admission test / Personal interview / Medical Examination. JEE/AIEEE students will be given preference.

Eligibility |
The candidates with a) Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Marine and Naval Architecture or b) Engineering students (BE/BTech Mechanical, Civil, Marine and Naval Architecture) who have successfully completed first year or c) BSc candidates in Maths and Physics with 60% marks are eligible for admission in Second year. Good communication and Writing skills in English is a must |
