Features of the MBA Programme:

Fisheries is the oldest means of livelihood known to mankind. In today�s dynamic business environment, Fisheries Industrial Management has evolved into full fledged discipline of study, involving Sustainable Fisheries, Technology aspects, Environmental Sciences, Geographical aspects, Conventions and regulations laid by National and International bodies, Finance and Human aspects of the industry, Fish farms management including processing and preservation -blended with import and export procedures, Coastal and Inland fisheries, Logistics and Supply Chain, Shipping Business and Port related aspects.

Objective � The objective of the programme is to groom personnel with adequate knowledge and skills to handle managerial positions in organisations, engaged in fisheries related trade and business, exports-imports of fisheries and related private sector and Government institutions. This programme also aims to groom entrepreneurs, to tap the numerous opportunities available in the sector.

Eligibility
Graduates in Science, Commerce and Life Sciences, with a minimum of 50% marks in Under graduate level from a recognized University. Graduates awaiting final results in the qualifying degree examination can also apply, subject to producing the mark lists before finalization of selection.

Mode of selection
Through common entrance examination and GD/ Interview conducted by AMET University.
