AMET University is offering full fee sponsorships to eligible EWS (Economically Weaker Section) girls who wish to start their career in the Merchant Navy by enrolling in the Graduate Marine Engineering (GME) course.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed a four-year B.E./B.Tech program in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Mechanical & Automation from a UGC-recognized university or an AICTE-approved institution, with a minimum aggregate of 65%.
- Academic Record: Applicants must have successfully completed all subjects on their initial attempt, without any gaps in their education.
- Age: Candidates must be no older than 23 years as of December 31, 2025.
- Health Criteria: Candidates must possess a BMI between 18 and 25 and have 6/6 vision, as per the DGS medical norms.
- Documentation: Each candidate must hold an EWS certificate issued by the local district revenue authority at the time of the interview.
After the interview process, selected girl candidates who meet the criteria will be provided with their admission and sponsorship offers.
