Liberal arts means- method of exploration and inquiry that started with a “desire for a universal understanding” It is an inter disciplinary course and has diverse approach to learning. Liberal arts has manifold of subjects to study. Liberal arts gives freedom to choose your major and minor subjects.. Liberal Arts equips employability skills in abundance ,appropriate to the employment need . There are immense scope in advertising, Marketing and Information Technology. Liberal Arts inflate critical and creative thinking.

With Liberal Arts degree, one can branch out into many different careers, such as journalism, Public Relation, Law, Politics, Linguistics, Publishing, Social Work, Psychology, Management, Public Policy and Civil Services.

Department of Public Policy

The Department of Public Policy provides foundation for those interested in pursuing careers in Governmental agencies, Non-Governmental organizations, Management Hospitals or Public Health Institutions, Consulting in private firms, School Boards, Human Resources and Political Analysts. The course to be taught in this programme is aimed to provide quality higher education to the future policy makers and leaders.

The aspirants of UPSC (IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS etc.,) and any other Public Service Commission are highly inspired and educated by the Dept. faculty.The Students of department of Public Policy are taught and trained by experienced faculty from leading IAS Academy and by retired Indian Administrators and Bureaucrats.
