The Office of the COE reformed examination automation through the implementation of the AMET Enterprise resource planning (ERP) Portal.

Faculty members enter internal marks into the ERP portal. The End Semester answer scripts are scanned for Digital evaluation after the conduct of the each examination. After the evaluation through digital mode, external marks are imported in the ERP portal. The ERP system combines both internal and external marks, add upto a maximum of 100 marks, and generates result copies for all courses, categorized by department, for the moderation process. After the Board of Examinations recommends moderation marks and the Vice-Chancellor approves them, the moderation marks are updated in the ERP portal. Once the moderation process is completed, the ERP system generates the final results galley for all programs, which can be viewed by students in their respective login ID as End Semester Examination results.

The entire examination process, from the generation of hall tickets to the issuance of certificates, is carried out with 100% automation.

Examination Reforms in PhD

After the Completion of 1st Doctorate Committee (DC) meeting, the Office of COE conducts Ph.D Course Work Examinations. MOOC courses with suitable credits are also accepted for Ph.D course work examinations. The Ph.D thesis evaluation process is conducted both online and offline. Ph.D viva voce examinations are conducted at University Campus. Online plagiarism checking is performed using DrillBit software.
