The Department of Food Processing Technology is established during the academic year 2022-23, having professionally qualified faculty, with the state of art laboratories catering to the needs of the food industry. This Department offers three-Year Regular B.Sc., in Food Processing Technology and Management System with the specialization in the fundamental principles of food processing such as food science and chemistry, unit operations, food analysis, modern processing and preservation techniques, principles of management and marketing. The course also gives ample opportunities to apply these principles in the relevant sector through internships and project work. Carrier Opportunities in MNC Food industries in Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Research and Development, Logistics and supply chain management. Also in Government of India organization like FSSAI, FCI, MOFPI and state government Cooperative Dairy Organizations, state government food and health department.
