AMET University is a place of learning where overall growth of students is ensured. Electrical department is the one the best departments in AMET University, excellent professors who made the coursework fun for us. The labs are extremely informative and hands on experience made it much easier for us to understand the theory. The professors are more like guides and friends who help you whenever required. The department fest which is completely technology based, helps you display your knowledge that you have gained over the years. The placements are good and the college tries that every deserving student gets a job. On the whole it is a great place to be in. |

I thank my Institution and Professors of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department for their constant encouragement and support. During my B.E - EEEM. AMET provides really good placement opportunities combined with many internship programs, seminars by expertise and other placement programs. Our university provides with facilities like free Wi-Fi , library, labs with all modern equipment and good teachers, who use the latest technology to teach the students in digital classrooms. The university also has hostel facilities along with a canteen. We have 24*7 medical facilities, and a ground and gym with all various equipment. Faculty members in the AMET are very helpful. AMET stands for Academy of Maritime Education and Training. Here they are not teaching us instead they are training us to become merchant officers. The infrastructure, Library, faculties provided by University is world class. Placement is the most attractive thing about this University. Almost all the cadets in every batch are getting placed in world class companies. In fact 35 of my batch mates including me got placed in Maersk Line, the biggest shipping company in the world, in first year it self. That’s why I can say that AMET is the no one maritime college in India. |

As compared to other maritime college, AMET have good infrastructure facility, good teachers etc. The Captains who taking lecture have good knowledge & they all are good sea life experience.
